Father's Day

  The men at church had their annual Rendezvous over Father's Day weekend. T had to get some homework done so he was only able to go to part of it, but he did spend one night. The girls, Noni, and I headed out on Father's Day morning for the "Family Day". 

The girls were happy to see Daddy and tell him "Happy Father's Day!"

 

Peaches LOVES Daddy! She always gets a huge smile on her face whenever he gets home!

 

Since it was Sunday we had outdoor church. Papa preached a great sermon on us, the Bride of Christ.

 

It's always fun to sing outdoors!

 

  

Peaches slept through most of the service. :)

 

 Noni had some fun games planned for the kids after the service and BBQ. One was a relay with the kids and dads/grandpas. They had to hammer a nail into the board. Peanut gave it a valiant effort.

Boo was up next and got it a little further down.

  

But it really came down to how fast the dad or grandpa could hammer the nail in and get back to the group. This round was Peanut, Boo, and Papa. Go Papa go!

 

Buggy was on Daddy's team.

  

The kids had a blast with Balloon Volleyball! 

  

I think they had more fun popping them than catching them though! :)

 

 Peaches was up for a while and I fed her in the car, but then she quickly fell asleep when our sweet neighbor held her.

  

I think the biggest hit was pony rides! The family who lives at this place brought their pony over for the kids to ride.  Of course they loved it!

So happy!

 Each of the girls got a turn.

 

The other kids would follow the pony around when it wasn't their turn.

 

Buggy got a really long ride back to the house.

 So fun!

 Later that afternoon when we were all back at our house we let Papa and Daddy open their Father's Day presents.

We got Papa some golf balls and a round of golf.

 

And we got Daddy an old-school radio so he can listen to baseball games when he's out working in the garage, yard, or at the farmhouse.

  

I also had Auntie Nae make this shirt for me. So cute! 

I think a great Father's Day was had by all! We had dinner with Grandpa and Grandma later in the week since we weren't able to see them that day.

We are so thankful for the amazing fathers in our life!!!
