Easter

 We had a wonderful Easter! The girls woke up early :/ so we had plenty of time to get ready for church. They came downstairs and got their Easter baskets which were a little unusual this year. :)

 

We've been spending all our extra free time out at the farmhouse so this year the Easter baskets were a book, "stubby" hammers, work gloves, and tape measures. 

They were thrilled!

After breakfast we headed to church where Peanut got to sing up on stage with her Sunday School class. Noni is their teacher and taught them this sweet song. :)

We had a sweet service...although I have to tell a funny story on Peanut. We were doing communion and the whole church was dead silent. She was on my lap and tried to lean down to grab something off the floor and accidentally tooted. It was SO loud. I'm talking Daddy heard her where he was standing at the very back of the church and Papa, as an elder, heard from where he was standing at the very front of the church. It was SOO funny! We all (including the people all around us) got the giggles and were trying so hard to stay composed, but it was quite hilarious. :P

We got home and had a wonderful Easter ham dinner with Noni, Papa, Grandma, and Grandpa. Then the girls got to open Easter presents from both grandparents. Noni got them cute, matching flip flops. Grandma got them cups full of candy, stuffed animals, chalk, and tattoos!

Peanut was giving Noni lots of smiles! You can tell she likes to eat! Haha :)

The girls were doing something fun on Papa's tablet. :)

I made the girls sit down and get a picture before they headed out for an Easter egg hunt!

The weather was interesting. It was cold and windy all morning, but then the sun came out and the wind died down so T went out and hid all the eggs. But then about ten minutes later it started raining and hailing! The girls did not want the candy inside to get ruined so they quickly changed and ran out to hunt in the hail and rain! 

All these pictures are from the porch because I wasn't as motivated enough to get wet. Haha :)
