A Party for A Princess

A few months ago Noni and the girls were walking by a new store in the mall and rushed to tell me all about it.  They saw the advertisement to have a birthday party there and Bug landed on the idea.  I booked her party right away since they fill up quickly on a Saturday and she eagerly awaited the day.  Part of the process was to go in for your party consolation and she got to check everything out, dress up, and pick her party colors and activities.

On the big day we woke up early sang Happy Birthday over a cream cheese with sprinkles bagel and loaded up the car.  As soon as we walked in Bug and Boo started in on the dress up clothes!

Noni helped Peanut get in on the dress-up action too!  She looked so adorable in her little pink tutu and wings!

This place is decorated to the hilt and is like a little girl’s dream world! 

I loved all the fun decorations!

I saw this cake on Pinterest and it turned out pretty darn cute!  Of course it was no where near as cute as the original picture, but Buggy liked it. :)

I had been toying with the idea of making cake pops for the kids for easier eating, but I’ve heard they are very difficult so I was on the lookout for something I could use.  Noni and I spotted these pink “Snowballs” at the grocery store.  Perfect!

There were tons of little activities that kept the party rolling.  Bubble wands!

Dress-up.

“Fashion show”.  Each girl came out and stood on this stool to get there picture taken.

Birthday Girl.

Boo Bear.  She was SUCH a good girl!  Not one speck of jealousy or selfishness all day as she watched her sister open gifts and get special attention.  She was as sweet as can be.

Then the girls got to stand in the windows and wave to all the mall goers.

The atmosphere in this place was just adorable.  Pink and fluffy-ness everywhere!

Then it was time for a craft.

They got to make butterflies and use TONS of glitter!

Grandma and the birthday girl.

Peanut was SO tired but of course wanted to do anything but sleep when there was so much activity going on!  Noni saved the day by walking her around the mall until she fell asleep.

Pizza was next on the agenda.

Then presents!

She got SO MANY fun presents!

Barbies!

A while back Grandma asked her what kind of dress she would want if she could have anything and she said a wedding gown!  They spent quite a while talking about what it would look like and be like and then Grandma designed it and made it for her birthday! 

It even has a veil and a train that is velcro-ed so if it gets stepped on it just pulls off! Brilliant!

Of course she had to try it on right away! She was a little embarrassed from all the attention.

So happy!

I didn’t get a picture of her blowing out the candles because one big puff and they were out!

Then it was time to burn off all that sugar!  Dance party!!!
