On Sunday we attended our towns’ annual Christmas festivities to kick off the holiday season. It is a big fund raiser dinner for an organization that helps people in our town. We got to go on a horse drawn carriage ride, and K got to perform one of her dances! (the real dance recital is tomorrow).
After it was over we came home and put on our Santa hats (except I couldn’t find Boo’s) and the Christmas music. Daddy made hot chocolate and cookies.
We had an accident within seconds. The first ornament out of the box, one of Daddy’s trains, crashed to the ground.
After that Daddy was in charge of handing out the ornaments. :)
This was Boo’s first year to decorate. She loved it for a full three minutes before she got bored and went off to make mischief.
Bug stuck with it and hung almost all of them. Mommy did a few of the breakables and special ones.
After all the ornaments were up it was time for the star!
Both girls got to help this year.
