For Boo's teenager trip we decided to go to Montana for some tax free shopping! We picked her up early from school and hit the road! She and T had picked the hotel but we didn't realize that we actually got a two bedroom suite! It was really nice and the first time she'd ever got a hotel bedroom to herself. :)
We went out to dinner at the McKenzie River Pizza Company, grabbed Dairy Queen for dessert and then went back to the hotel to watch a movie before bed.
The next morning we woke up just in time to hit the continental breakfast and then it was shop til you drop! Literally. My feet hurt at the end of the day. Haha. We hit at least a dozen stores, including several thrift stores, and found a bunch of great deals!
We paused our shopping only long enough to get Chik-Fil-A for lunch and then we went to a show! It was called The Play Where Everything Goes Wrong and it was a play about people putting on a play called the Murder at Havershom manner and all these funny things keep happening to the actors, like the actor playing the dead guy kept getting his hand stepped on, the set or props would fail or go missing, an actor would open a door to storm out and a stage hand would be standing there surprised. It was quite silly and hilarious! Speaking of hilarious...
The only bad part was I thought I got tickets several rows back from the stage but we were in the front row and eye to eye with the floor. :P We had a great view of the actors and actresses nostrils, lol.
After the play it was back to shopping, and then we ended the evening with Texas Roadhouse! We loved spending all that one on two time with Boo! She is so much fun to hang out with!
Meanwhile back at home Noni had gotten out the trampoline! The girls loved it!
This was when Aunt Karen was still here. I think she took this picture for us! Peaches lost a tooth! And then actually lost it. We have no idea where it went. Haha.
But that didn't stop her from playing and singing an offertory. I listened to it on the church website and she did a wonderful job!
We hit a few more shops on Sunday morning and then Boo and Grogu were ready to get on the road. :)
This was one of the first sunny/hot days we had so when we stopped for lunch we sat on the patio and soaked up the sunshine. Boo liked how Daddy's Pepsi was traveling up the straw and got a picture. Haha.
What a wonderful trip with our teenager! I don't know why teenagers get such a bad rap because ours are amazing and so much fun!
Thanks Noni and Aunt Karen for taking care of the others so we could go!!!
