Boo had a great basketball season! She is so competitive and good at all sports, but basketball is where she really shines! She played point guard quite a bit for her middle school team, though she prefers post.
And she got the All Star award again this year out of the 17 kids on her team!
Unfortunately she gets hurt A LOT because she doesn't shy away from anyone. She jumps right into the fray and will not back down from anyone no matter how much bigger they are. Because of that she gets lots of chances to shoot free throws and her average definitely improved by the end of the season.
They ended the middle school season with a tournament where they won one and lost two. They played hard and had a great time!
The rest of these pictures were taken by some of the year book staff at their school. They are all of high school games. This first picture was actually of the parent player game so that's a blurry me in the red t-shirt. :)
Another evidence of her toughness...she got into dozens of jump balls through her two seasons.

She is so much fun to watch.You can just see the determination on her face.
And like I said she is never afraid to go for it!
Her passing really improved over the season...she just has to make sure the other person is tough enough to handle her passes...they are hard and fast and can slip through the fingers of the less experienced players on the middle school team.

This was one of the high school games she got to start. You would never know she was an 8th grader. She is right up there skill wise with the high schoolers.
Such an amazing season! We are so proud of this girl!!! She is one tough cookie!
We're already looking forward to next season! But first...soccer!
