We definitely had a white Christmas! Grandma and Grandpa had at least two feet of snow still and the roads weren't great but we braved them to get to a Christmas Eve service at their church. You can't really see it but the kids got to go up to the front and hear a story read. Peanut took Peaches and Lou up.
It was a sweet and meaningful service. I loved it at the end when everyone got their candles lit and we sang.

Cousin M wasn't feeling great so Auntie Nae and family stayed behind...which meant we got back to a amazingly delicious dinner prepared!
Uncle W made his famous brisket! He had been working on this thing for hours and hours! He said they got up at 3:30AM to get it started on the smoker. Auntie Nae added homemade mac and cheese and cornbread. It was SO good!
Then we were ready for "stockings".
That's a whole post's worth of pictures though so I'll show those tomorrow.
After stockings we let the girls open the Christmas "jammies" except it wasn't really jammies this year. It was more outfits for them to wear in the Christmas pictures but they could double as pjs.

Grandpa read us the Christmas story from Luke 2 and then it was off to bed to dream of sugarplums. :)
