We had a fun weekend at the farm which I will post about tomorrow. For now I’ll give you these pictures I took on Friday. After living in a fog…quite literally…the sun finally came out blazing!
We have had some sunny days this winter, but it seems like most of the time it was either overcast, or pea soup fog. Our little town often seems to be in its own weather pattern. We can have socked-in fog for days on end without a single glimpse of the sun, but travel just 10 miles in any direction and it clears.
The same goes for the snow. We still have at least a foot, but travel in any direction and they only have patches of un-melted snow.
So on Friday we were so excited to see the sun! Although the temperature said it was only 41 it felt like the upper 50’s. The sun felt amazing. We couldn’t let it go to waste so when T came home for lunch we let the girls get their bikes out of the garage and dust them off.
They were thrilled to get out of the house! We haven’t been outside at all lately because all our snow is old and crunchy ice-snow…not much fun to play in.

It really did feel like Spring! Although, as I type this there is snow coming down and a prediction of 1-3 inches, so I’m not holding my breath that Winter is over, but we’ll take any sunny days we can get!
