We had our homeschool Christmas party on our last day before break. Several families couldn't make it but we still ended up with a good group! There were crafts to do...
And then Ms J put together a scavenger hunt list so they ran all over the church finding items on the list and checking them off.
When they brought back their list they got to decorate cookies.
Frosting was used with wild abandon. Haha.
Sprinkles too!
Ms J also put together a cute game where everyone got to pick a present but not unwrap it. Then she read the Christmas story and whenever she said left or right they had to pass the present to the left or right. For example, "When Joseph and Mary LEFT for Bethlehem..." the presents got passed many times.
And then at the end they got to open them. Lou got a new notebook, Peanut got Play Doh, and I think Peaches got some stickers.
It was a fun party!
