Peanut has been asking to have a tea party for ages so for her 8th birthday we decided to pull out all the stops and have one! I let them use our fancy china (they didn't break a single piece!) and they got all dressed up. I let them wear make up and fixed their hair, and even let them borrow some of my nice jewelry (only one bracelet casualty).
Buggy made a beautiful flour-less chocolate cake (one of Peanut's friends is allergic to wheat/oats).
Peanut looked so beautiful!
But of course her sugar always comes with a little extra spice. :)
Buggy came up with a pretty hairstyle for me to try on her.
They wanted Prince Taco to get dressed up too. Lol!
I love Boo's long beautiful hair!

The three guests arrived and Boo and Bug hosted games they had made beforehand.

After the games the girls all came up for the party. We grabbed a picture first. :)
Peanut and I had gone shopping the day before and she chose vanilla wafers, Dove chocolates, grapes, strawberries, miniature rice cakes, and peanut butter and honey finger sandwiches (which Boo made). They were made on gluten free, dairy free bread so I wasn't sure how they would taste, but they were actually pretty good!
We had regular tea and raspberry tea. The raspberry tasted more like Koolaid and they mostly drank that, but Peanut and Boo wanted some real tea so they could use the sugar cubes we'd bought. :)
They were all so sweet and proper during the party.
Her three besties brought her presents.
She got clay, an embroidery kit, a Flip-a-zoo notebook, headbands, hand sanitizer, a fancy pen, and a bracelet and necklace.
The girls ran off to play hide and seek after that. They stayed for about two and half hours and had so much fun! The mail came after they left with this fun present from Auntie Nae. Peanut had been asking for "her" letter for her new room and we hadn't gotten one yet so she was super excited to receive this one that lights up!
Such a sweet party for our grown up girl!
