I think the reason that Peaches thought it was her birthday was because we went back to Chuck E. Cheese. For months the girls have been practicing the piano and filling out charts that Noni made them for motivation. Their reward was Chuck E. Cheese, and I got some free tickets, for filling out a survey after the party, that were expiring at the end of February. It was MUCH nicer this time as far as the crowd. We went on a school day so there were only two other families in the whole place.
Peaches was SO excited!
And actually did pretty good with the games!
We had a coupon too so they each got 50 play points. I think Peanut got more because they were sharing two cards and I'm pretty sure she swiped more than her fair share. Haha.
Peaches didn't notice though and got to do plenty of what she wanted.
They took a five minute time out to eat. Peaches barely ate anything because she was so excited. When we left at 1:30 she said, "We gonna go get lunch?" I guess she didn't realize that was lunch because she didn't sit still long enough to eat more than a bite. Haha.
The picture machine was a big hit. :)
As was this game. They played it multiple times and got a bunch of tickets from it.
Peanut is telling Buggy, "Chuck E. Cheese is getting READY! He's coming out soon!!!"
Peaches was doing this adorable hip swing. So stinking cute.
"Da mousie likes me! He said where me, where me? He wants ta dance with me!"
It cracks me up how Chuck E. makes a "getaway". He throws the tickets and then skedaddles. By the time they are done collecting the dropped tickets he is long gone....maybe this avoids tantrums from kids?? Whatever it is makes me laugh. It's like he's an escaping rock star.
Baby girl liked it there too...all the bright flashing lights were very intriguing for her. Noni finally got her to sleep for me.
After she woke up I fed her again while the girls finished up their play points and picked their prizes from the tickets.
Then we headed for home in yet another snow storm. It was nice to have a break from the house and shake off a little of the cabin fever. Spring, please come soon!
