Going Home

 The originally told us that they wanted to keep us for 48 hours which would have put us leaving the hospital at 10PM on Friday. One nurse said if we asked we might be able to leave by dinner. We were really ready to go home though, and the first nurse we had on Wednesday came on shift and sped things up for us. Both the pediatrician and my doctor came in that morning and cleared us and the nurse said she could get us out of there by noon so we got out E's going home outfit and started getting ready. She does NOT like to get dressed or have her diaper changed. :)

  

 Gymboree has a size called "Brand New" that actually fits newborns! This was the first time baby wasn't swimming in her take-home outfit!

Daddy had to make several trips down to the car with all our stuff.

Noni and the girls were planning to come up, but with the early release I had to call them and make new arrangements. T grabbed this picture when he came back in. Love how her little booty fits in the palm of my hand. :) 

Car seat safety check! 

Boo had wanted Panda for her birthday dinner, but ended up getting hospital cafeteria instead so we met Noni and Papa at Panda and had lunch before heading home. The girls were thrilled to see their sister. :)

 

Our little Pilot is definitely a little tight these days! But it works. :)

Bug said, "Mommy hand me your phone! She is being really cute back here!"

We made it home! She didn't notice. :)

But the girls were sure excited to have her home!

 Yay!

 

A little present from E to her big sisters...

Legos! It said, "I can't wait till I'm big enough to play with you, sisters!"

I made them get a picture before they ran downstairs to open the new set. 

 Peanut stayed upstairs, wanting to hold the baby.

 

E's thumb was kind of tucked into her fist and Peanut gasped, "Mommy! She don't have a fumb!" When I pulled it out and showed her she was very relieved. "Oh good! She does have a fumb! I'm glad of that!"

Then Peanut wanted to take a picture of her...how appropriate that she would be doing Peanut's ninja pose! Haha :)

So far she likes the binky, but can't keep it in her mouth very well. I thought this was funny because she had a hold of it like she was trying to keep it in there.

All of the girls took a binky at first, but none of them liked it past the first few weeks.
