Family Pictures!

My birthday present this year was family pictures! I have been wanting to get them for years now and T found someone to do it for us! We had our session in September. I am so happy with how they turned out!! 

 This one makes my heart happy.

 

 

She did an amazing job capturing our beautiful girls!

 

 

One interesting thing is that she said she likes movement in her photos so she had us do some funny stuff like lining up holding hands and then all rushing inwards. They turned out pretty cute though!

 

 

 

T was definitely not comfortable with all her directions, like this one she said to trace a letter on my cheek with his nose, lol. But it did turn out cute.

 

Love this one too.

 

 

This one is my favorite! 

 

 

And I love the individuals of the girls as well. They are all so beautiful!

 

 

 

 

 

 

We also combined our session with a senior pictures session for Bug. I'll save those for her graduation announcement but I don't think she wants to use this one. So beautiful!

 

 

The photographer told us to bring her volleyball uniform and she got some good shots of her!

 

 

 

I had Boo bring hers as well.

 

  

 

I love that they got to play together this year!

Best birthday present ever!!

Thanksgiving Fun!

 The kids went outside after our big thanksgiving meal and ran around.

 

 

E had brought a big sword he made and Peaches thought it was pretty cool. :)

 

 

After staying up late and running around outside Lou was pretty tired so I actually got her to fall asleep! 

 

 

We spent the rest of the day playing games and visiting. Noni bought Bible Taboo and it was pretty fun!

 

 

I don't remember what was so funny but it must have been a good one!

The kids were excited when we broke out the pie!

 

 

We worked a puzzle start to finish that day!

 

 

Peanut and E made us a charcuterie turkey for dinner and we got out the leftovers.

 

 

We played many rounds of bingo!

 

 

F's grandma played with the kids and won several rounds. She is a really fun and sweet lady! It was nice getting to spend the day with F and his family.

 

 

Friday morning T, K, S, A, F, and I all got up and went black Friday shopping. 12 is the magic age so Peanut got to join us this year and she loved it! Besides Target it just seemed like a regular shopping day crowd wise. We only got one doorbuster and there really weren't any other impressive sales. I miss the old days where stores waited until actual black Friday instead of starting their sales the week before. We hit about seven stores and made the kids eat Thai food for lunch since we were up by our favorite place. :) They all agreed it wasn't bad so maybe there can be more Thai food in our future! 

Saturday morning Noni had another object lesson for the girls. This one was about being the salt of the earth.

 

 

 

 

We packed up, had piano lessons, and a couple more card games with Mama and headed home. She and T were in a competition and she was happy that she won three games of the weekend and he only won two, haha. I won zero. :P Those two are so competitive with each other. Haha. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Now on to Christmas!

 We arrived for Thanksgiving and Mama was so happy to see us! She told Boo she needed to rock her like when she was little. Haha.

 

 

Not sure who took this one on my phone but Abby was happy to see us too. :)

 

 

Noni had a wonderful dinner for us and then we played cards. The little ones got out the Bingo set.

 

 

Thanksgiving morning Noni had a really neat devotion on prayer. 

 

 

She used M&M's to show how prayer can permeate every area of your life if you let it.

 

 

Noni always comes up with the neatest object lessons!

F arrived and we hung out while we waited for the turkey to cook.

F's family arrived including his grandma and we got ready to eat. There were so many of us we had to have several tables. Little ones table...

We had an amazing dinner with all the traditional foods...it was so good!
