Spring Break

Spring Break this year was full of scrapbooking, soccer, and sleepovers. I decided that I've put off making Peaches' baby book long enough and needed to tackle it before we move so I printed off all the pictures I needed...400 of them! When I picked them up at Costco I thought, there is no way I'm going to be able to get this done in a week, but I actually did it! I spent hours, and hours, and HOURS sitting at the table, but I got it finished! And I went through all my scrapbooking stuff and got it pared down to one tub. Yay for the small victories!

Noni and the girls put up the trampoline when we had a warm day, but it's since turned cold again.

Thankfully dance and soccer did not overlap this year. We wrapped up dance and had a whole week before soccer practice started. Unfortunately Boo's first practice was 39 degrees and raining, but she's a tough cookie and played hard anyway.

 

Noni's Easter present for the girls was a sleepover at her house, but because of soccer practices we couldn't get all four of them there at the same time. I decided to split them up littles and bigs so Peanut and Peaches spent Wednesday night. Noni said they did so well together and that Peanut was such a good big sister to Peaches! They got to make their own pizzas for dinner and then wanted to watch them cook. So sweet!

They also helped gather the eggs in the rain.

 

Sometimes "heppin'" isn't so helpful. Whoops! I never heard the story of how the eggs broke, but they definitely didn't make it back to the house. :P

 

Bug and Boo had soccer practice Wednesday night and T and I took them to Subway for dinner since it was already 6:45. Then we traded with Noni the next day and she took Bug and Boo, and we took Peanut and peaches out to lunch.  

Ready to practice! She's actually really good! I'm surprised because she didn't play last year and almost everyone else on her team did, but she is right there with them and did a great job!

Apparently Bug and Boo got to roast hot dogs in the fire at Noni's house. Fun!

The little ones kept each other entertained while I scrapped away. Peanut took my phone and came back with it a bit later with these pictures on it. She had set up a "nest" for Peaches. :)

Funny girls.

 Well we might  not have gone to the ocean or Florida or even on a day trip like a lot of their friends, but I would say we had a very successful Spring Break!

Giant Banana Split Night!

Probably the girls' favorite AWANA night of the year - Giant Banana Split! Noni lets Peaches come to Cubbies even though she is too young, and she absolutely loves it!

She's still pretty lactose intolerant...tummy troubles if she eats too much dairy so I brought the "ice cream" I give her at home. It's frozen pineapple and coconut milk blended up into an ice cream consistency. She loves it!

The girls get grossed out by all those who go around eating out of the same dish so they get bowls. You can tell mine are trained to take pictures. Haha!

Pastor S is the worst! He goes and digs into the sloppiest parts...so gross! He claims he has never gotten sick from it. 

He had some competition this year...Pastor J! 

Haha!

Buggy invited two friends and Boo brought one! Peaches wanted to invite one of hers, but it didn't work out.

Noni did a fabulous job with the church kids, as usual! She made up a little poem thing and had Peanut and Boo memorize it. It was fast paced and had to be timed perfectly to fit into the music, but they did a great job with it! 

Look at the tongue out on the little one. You can tell she's got an ornery streak!

She didn't sing any of the song except, "SAVED!" which she exclaimed with hands in the air. 

She's prasin' Jesus! :)

These pictures were from practice. In the live version there were a couple more kids and she was able to do the exclamation point which worked out nicely because she could never get the "S" up at the right time and it kept saying "ESU" (because the little girl on the other end wasn't holding up the "J" either. Haha!

Peaches was cracking me up. She was SO excited! :) Way to go Peanut and Boo!

Leftover Thursday

Boo has been doing a geology unit in Science. If I remember right this is when Bug got into collecting rocks.

Science is not my favorite subject...I think entirely because of the mess factor. It is by far the messiest subject...even worse than Art. As Mrs. Frizzle says, "Make mistakes and get MESSY!" We definitely have that part down. I was cleaning up sand particles for days! :P

Peaches LOVES Awana! She is technically not old enough to go, but Noni allows her to come. She has a ball with the Cubbies and thinks she is just as big as they are! 

Our friends from Arkansas were here for a few weeks for a family wedding and we got to spend some time with them! Baby T is so cute, and the girls loved him! 

Hat night at Awana! She looked so little and adorable as she ran off to the Cubbie room.
