I got a BIG Mother's Day present this year! Really big!
Yes we finally took the plunge and bought a vehicle in which we can fit both kids and groceries at the same time! The Pilot was fine for one or the other but not both at the same time. :P
I have been avoiding a bigger vehicle since we found out we were going to have a 4th. I don't like driving huge vehicles and was worried I wouldn't like it at all. The breaking point came when we wanted to take the double stroller somewhere and no matter how T maneuvered it (he can pack anything into any vehicle!) it would not fit. He's been looking for a bigger car since last summer, but after that it was ON. :}
He found the perfect one and we were going to go look at it, but couldn't get there for a couple days. By the time we could go in it was gone. Then he found two other ones that were over an hour from here so on Saturday before Mother's Day we packed up and headed in to town. One was a beautiful bronze color that I loved, but it had been smoked in and while they had done a great job cleaning it out it still smelled faintly. That left us with the silver. It's funny because it looks like our Pilot's Mama when they are next to each other...baby silver SUV and Mama silver SUV. Haha :)
We did the test drives and loved it. A few hours at the car dealership and we were on our way! Welcome to the family "Burb"! After a week of driving it I don't know what I was worried about! It handles great and I'm loving it!
We kept the Pilot for the days when T has to commute for meetings. It's already paid off and not worth that much since it's already 11 years old. The pickup gets very poor gas mileage so it will be handy to keep the Pilot around for a while.
My Mother's Day started with breakfast in bed! Cooked totally by Buggy!
We got ready for church and the girls wore the dresses I had originally got for Easter. I had to get some pictures!

Boo and Peanut were both dedicated on Mother's Day so it was the perfect day for Peaches' dedication. It's so easy to worry and hold on to her too tightly, but we have to remember that she first and foremost belongs to God.
We promised to do our best to raise her to love and serve God with all her heart, mind, soul, and strength.
And our wonderful church family agreed to do whatever they can to help us attain that goal. We are so blessed to be a part of such an sweet body of believers. We aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but we are all learning and growing together.
Grandma and Grandpa and Noni and Papa were all there to help us celebrate so we had to get some new pictures.
We are so blessed to have such wonderful parents/grandparents in our lives!!!
My sweet husband went shopping and made lunch for everyone! He has been working so hard! Between the new job and getting his Masters he is plum worn out, but he keeps plugging along. I am so thankful for him.
And I'm immensely thankful for these four cuties that made me a mother. We certainly have our ups and downs. Each day is a roller coaster of bliss and frustration, joy and exasperation, but I wouldn't trade them for anything in the whole wide world. They have my heart.
And I'm never getting it back.
