On Christmas Eve we did our traditional stocking baskets. It's so fun to open a basket full of presents. I think it's even better than Christmas morning!
Good thing Grandma and Grandpa have a big living room since there are 17 of us now!

That made it worth the three hours of wrapping and sore backs Daddy and I got. Haha.

Boo and I found these little beanies when we had to run into the pharmacy one day.
We had such a wonderful Christmas! We were holding our breath for weeks, hoping that we wouldn't get sick and would be able to go to the farm. Unfortunately Peaches started getting sniffly the day after her last day of preschool. Lou came down with it the next day and the rest of us started doubling up on vitamins and getting extra rest. Most of us came down with it a little bit, but not too bad. The family encouraged us to come anyway.
We were planning to go down to the farm on the 23rd, but we went to bed really early the night before and were feeling a little better so we decided to do the same thing for one more night. We left first thing on Christmas Eve morning and got to the farm well before lunch.
There were three adorable puppies there! Everyone had a new puppy except us! They were too cute and made me want a new puppy too, haha. Here is little Gracie. SO sweet! She looked like a little stuffed animal.
And Grandpa's puppy was still so small! I thought she would be bigger, but she was just then at the age that Jax was when we got him, since we got him late.
Lou loved all the puppies!
Grandma's house looked amazing as usual! She goes all out for Christmas!
It was so nice to be with the whole family! We hadn't been together since the 4th of July!
If we didn't know where Lou was we just had to look for a puppy. :)
We are so blessed to have such amazing family that we enjoy hanging out with!
Lou discovered the rocking horse this trip. Peaches showed her how it was done.

Lou loves climbing over the back of couches and flipping over them. I don't know why but every time she sees a couch she feels the need to do so. :P
Lou loved these "no-mans" and gave them hugs whenever she passed them. They were just the right size!
We brought mini gingerbread houses for all the kids to decorate.
Auntie Nae helped Lou with hers. She was so funny. She knew exactly where she wanted each piece and pointed to where she wanted them to go. Whenever she was asked if she was done she said, "More!"
And of course she ate a good bit of candy too. :P
So did this one. Haha.

Sweet girl. It's been fun to watch her do all the Christmas traditions this year and see how much she's grown and improved in her skills!
