Wordless Wednesday

Taco!

Our neighbors had kittens and they all got spoken for really fast but one of the homes fell through and she knew I had wanted one so she asked if we wanted it. She brought it over that night and the girls fell in love instantly.  

They have little kids so he was already very calm and sweet and used to being handled.

 

 

I asked what they wanted to name him and they came up with Taco. I think mostly because Taco cat is a palindrome. Peanut drew this picture for him. Haha.  

  

The poor thing is VERY loved. Haha!

 They made him string balls but he just destroyed them. 

Lou is very careful with him...until she isn't. Sometimes she picks him up very nicely and other times she picks him up by the tail and the fur on his neck. :{

At those times he usually gets rescued by one of the other girls.

He is a funny little guy. Lots of personality and makes us laugh with all his dashing about the house and pouncing on things. He is supposed to be an outdoor cat, but Jax is a big bully with the cats so we can't let him outside. Thankfully he is 100% litter-box trained. He sleeps outside in the garage in Jax's old cage, but spends almost all day inside running around. 

The girls love him so much and have a great time carting him around and playing with him.

First Haircut!

Peaches had her first haircut the other day! It seems crazy that she's four and half and has never had one, but it took that long for our little bald baby to grow some hair. Haha.

I grabbed a quick picture after we washed her hair before her appointment. It was getting so long! 

This was her on the way to the appointment. She was mad that D was kicking her. We have since moved her car seat to avoid every single trip ending with crying/screaming. :{

She was so nervous and excited at the same time.

Here's the excited.

She did the same thing she did at the dentist where she was smiling but also so nervous she was kind of crying. Not really crying, but tears were leaking out.

But I'm pretty sure those inches off went straight onto her years. She looked so much older and grown up! 

These little milestones are bittersweet for this mama. I love being there for them, but they make me sad that my babies are growing up so fast! 

Sometimes I really wish time would slow down! 

19 Months

Our little Lou has so much personality. She cracks me up. One day she found this hat and put it on. She looked too cute.

She will NOT stop climbing up on chairs! You can see how proud she is to make it up on one without getting taken off. If only she was as good as staying on them once she makes it up. She usually falls off within a minute or two, cries for 5 minutes and then climbs right back up. :P

I love her beautiful curls!

She has been perfecting the art of fit throwing lately. :{

Be grateful there is not sound on this. She was not getting her way and was doing her super angry high-pitched growl-scream.

Always into something.

But learning how to pray and grow every day.

Sweet baby.

She'll be off and running in no time.

Switching out winter clothes for summer. This isn't even a third of our bins. We save SO MUCH money by having five girls! Haha.

This girl loves dressing up and dancing.

I think Bug or Boo did this. Looks pretty cool.

Back when Jax and his food and water was still in the kitchen. You can see why those three things were relocated in the garage...this was pretty much an every day occurrence. :{
