Leftover Thursday

Peaches grabbed my phone and wanted to take a picture of Peanut and I. :)

"Look Ma-ma! I did it all by myself!"

On the way home from school one day I heard, "Hey Mom. I'm relaxin'!" I looked back to find this. Haha.

 

And of course as soon as I took a picture she had to do her cheese face.

 

This was when she first came down with her nasty cold in January. I kept her home from school and out of dance but we went ahead and went to worship team. She looked more and more miserable as the night wore on. :(

 

But not too miserable to cheese. :P

Wordless Wednesday

Happy Valentine's Day!

 We started off Valentine's Day with a few small things for the girls. Peaches took one look at her card from Daddy and melted into a hysterical puddle! He had put the shortened form of her name and she was wailing so loudly it literally hurt my ears! "HE SPELL MY NAME WRONG! IT IS MISSING MY LETTERS!" Oh my goodness. She melts down often, but this one took the cake. This is me handing her back to envelope after I "fixed" it and added the rest of the letters. Good grief. :P

 

I have been blocking the pantry with the walker and dog food and Lou figured out how to climb over it apparently. Although when I found her she was kind of stuck. :P

But she must have been on her way OUT instead of on her way IN. :P

Our bible study "hosted" the Valentine's banquet at church because it fell on one of our nights. A small group of us went up the night before and decorated. I thought it turned out so cute!! 

 

T was our MC and did a great job. 

We had a good turnout. I think there were 48 adults (and around 30 kids in the back). 

 

The Youth Leadership served the food as a fundraiser for their upcoming mission trip to Mexico.

 

We kept it really simple. Usually there are games and a speaker and a pretty fancy meal. We did soup, salad, rolls, and desserts and our theme was "Comedy Night" so we watched a video of a comedian, Jeff Allen, and our give away was tickets to one of his upcoming live shows. I was a little worried about how it would all turn out since it was my first time doing a big event like this, but it went great and everyone said they had a great time!

 A couple days later at worship team the kids had fun with the remains of the decorations. Haha.

Unicorn Party

 The girls got to go to the COOLEST birthday party EVER! I had literally just said to T, "Our first free Saturday in 6 weeks!" because of basketball, when I got an invite for one of Peaches' friend's birthday party. It looked way too cool to miss, but we had been anxious to have some free time to work on the house so I asked if Noni would take the girls and she did. I'm SO thankful they didn't miss it because it looks like they had so much fun!! 

This is a real cowboy family. They are retired from the Rodeo and have the coolest place, including several ponies which were turned into unicorns for the party. Haha. 

First they painted their "nails". :)

And then painted the ponies themselves, and poured glitter all over them. Haha!

They even had tutus and unicorn horns! Too cute!!

Noni said that Peaches stuck with it long after all the other kids moved on to other things, and kept saying, "I'm paintin' a pony!" 

 

Then they got to ride the ponies, and horses for the big girls.

So happy!

They also got to hold bunnies.

 

And goats.

As you can imagine they came home bursting at the seams with excitement!

Thank you thank you Noni for making sure they didn't miss such an awesome experience!!!

Silly Girls!

Lou is so bad about getting in Jax's water and food. She thinks it is great fun. :P

 

She is also constantly getting into the pantry and pulling out anything and everything she can find. I need to put up a baby gate, but they are such a pain! 

The other day I looked over and Peaches was doing these spin/flips over and over. I grabbed my camera to video and accidentally got a slip. I was trying so hard not to laugh!
