Leftover Thursday

 I have discovered that cauliflour pizza crust is a great way to get in some extra veggies and everyone actually likes it! Score one for Mommy!

Noni and Papa fixed our porch and stairs for us while we were gone one weekend! SOO nice!!! This is the hole where Peaches fell through on the day of Peanut's baptism.

The cats liked to nap under the door that used to lean against the porch. :) 

Baby quail! They are so tiny you can hardly even see them! 

 

I found Peaches like this one day. 

 

She looked up at me and said, "Hi Mama, I readin' my scah-whip-shuh!"

Peanut took this one when we were decorating for VBS.

 

The girls usually have cereal for breakfast on Sunday morning since we need to be at church by 8:30 for worship team practice. This morning I came down to find that Peaches had decided not to wait for someone to get her a bowl fixed. :P

It's hard to tell but there was milk splattered everywhere. :P

Lou likes this ring but almost always tries to push against it with her foot and then it slips around her leg and gets stuck. Haha.

Goodbyes and Pool Parties

On Monday morning the girls and I got up and headed for Noni's. She had made a big breakfast for everyone before Aunt Jody and Auntie Eve had to leave to catch their plane. It was Uncle Sean's birthday so we made him a quick happy birthday video and took one last picture before saying our goodbyes. 

Then the girls and I loaded back up in the car and headed back towards home for a birthday party for Boo's friend, R. They had lunch and games in the park.

And then we headed to the pool!

We grabbed Peanut's friend, T, since it was one of her last days before her family headed back to Mexico.

Peaches has come leaps and bounds this summer! She went from not being able to be in the water without gripping someone's hands tightly to being able to jump in from the side, and float on her own!

The kids all had a blast!

I was going to go home and feed the baby before heading back to Noni's for Aunt Karen's last night, but both the little ones were passed out by the time we got there so the big girls just changed quickly and we headed on. 

We had one last meal and set of games together. Lou tried corn on the cob. :)

 

The big girls spent the night and then Lou and I drove back to Noni's the next morning for lunch. It was my birthday so Noni had gone and picked up our favorite sandwiches. Yum. As soon as lunch was over we had to take Aunt Karen to the airport...boooo. 

Such a fun, but always too short visit!

Visitors! - Part 2

Mama got a great present for her 88th birthday...her three girls there to celebrate with her!

We played two teams of Bocci ball.

Peaches really wanted to play too so we let her use a tennis ball for everyone's safety. Haha.

 

She was determined to get her turn each time!

 

We had some big throws that required golf cart transportation. Love this picture. T was letting Peaches steer. If you can zoom in the expressions are funny. :)

I can't remember who won...I think it was pretty close, but we all had fun!

Auntie Eve had gone to a friend's wedding and returned the afternoon of Mama's birthday. We had a nice dinner and then sang happy birthday over angel food cake.

I think I'm out of order here...this next set of pictures was from the day before...the 5th. The girls had spent the night and we met up with everyone for lunch.

Lou had some bread off my sandwich and then a tasty plastic cup. :)

Then we headed over to the city gardens. They weren't at their peak yet, but were still very pretty!

 

I hadn't really taken any good pictures of Lou since she's been sitting up so we had to grab some with the pretty flowers!

This time Daddy was the one outnumbered...but he's used to it. :)

And whenever Daddy is around it usually boils down to roughhousing. Haha.

Noni got some really cute pics with this cool tree arch walkway.

We enjoyed the fountains and paths for a while before heading back to the house for naps, games, and more visiting.

Lou was asleep before we could even get out of the park.
