Peaches LOVES the Itsy Bitsy Spider song...any song with hand motions really, including but not limited to Pat-A-Cake, This Little Piggy, and The Arky-Arky song. I tried to get a video of the Itsy Bitsy Spider. It's cuter in person and when she stands still, but it's not terrible. :)
Peanut kept her room clean for 30 days, and per her agreement with Daddy she got $15 worth of a toy. She chose a Calico Critter Koala family that they found on sale. A few days after they came I found about 30 family pictures on my phone. I guess they went to get their portraits done. Here are three of the best. :)

Oh my goodness these funny girls crack me up! Boo had to do a book report and she chose The Jungle Book. Here is her rough draft which we then corrected...

She had to do a presentation so she made a diorama with amazingly little details!
This is the funny part. They said that Peanut was going to help with the presentation and Bug took her upstairs to make her a costume. They wouldn't let me see it before hand and then she burst out in the middle of the presentation as "Mowgli". Haha!
I videoed Boo afterwards without the mostly-naked Mowgli appearance. Haha!
We turned in her book review and her teacher said she did a great job!
I LOVE dance recital day! Christmas, Easter, birthdays, and dance recitals are my favorite days of the year! I love to see the girls all dressed up and dancing their hearts out up on that stage!
The dance school has grown so much that they have had to hand out a specific number tickets per family the last two years so this time the teachers decided to do two back-to-back shows so more people could attend. It meant we were there an extra hour and half, but I thought it worked out great! And it was so fun, because Noni and I signed up to help backstage for one of the shows and got to see all the action!
The reason it is such a long day is because they do pictures and dress rehearsal the same day. Bug had to be there at 12:30, Boo at 1:30, and Peanut at 2:30, and we didn't get home until 6:45 that night.

Peanut's tap...surfin' USA. They wore visors and hers kept slipping down over her eyes! Poor girl! But she weathered it like a trooper and kept dancing even though she could barely see!
Twice it came all the way down around her neck and she quickly put it back on her head without missing a move. They ditched the hats for the second performance, but I was so proud of her for doing such a good job with a big wardrobe malfunction. The show must go on!

Papa and Mama were SUPER helpful and took Peaches back to the house and fed her dinner during the 2nd show. It was would have been very hard to keep her occupied backstage so I was very thankful!
I was in charge of Bug's group during the 2nd recital, but I had lots of extra time so I helped Peanut and Boo with some costume changes as well. It was fun to see what goes on backstage! Normally the preschool group is running around CRAZY, but Noni was in charge of them and had them lined up like perfect little angels listening to her read books. She's a miracle worker with that age!
The teachers said the 2nd show was even better since all the kinks were worked out and I think they will do the 2 show format again!
After the 2nd show we gave the girls flowers and I made them pose for pictures. Love my amazingly talented little dancers!

The girls have been practicing their dances every day, gearing up for recital and Peaches LOVES to join in. It is so cute. Of course I missed the cutest parts when trying to video, but you get the idea.
