Peanut had been talking about going to the theme/water park for nearly a year. After being in the upper 90's for SIX weeks leading up to her birthday the temperature suddenly dropped down to the high 70's low 80's. We debated going another day when it warmed up but there weren't any days that were too much warmer in the 10 day forecast so we decided to just go for it. Thankfully it warmed up to the mid 80's so we weren't freezing like the year before.
The first thing we did was the carousel at the entrance...
And then it was straight to the splash pad!
I was surprised at how much fun everyone had there. Even the big kids were running around crazy having a ball.
Peaches loved it as long as she didn't get too close to the spraying water. :)
Cousins W&M came with us and it was so fun to spend time with them!
Peaches LOVED the waterfall. She kept getting so excited she was covering her face in glee. She does it once in this video.
We went in the wave pool, down a big family raft slide, and around the lazy river four times.
They also spent some time at the "pond" with all it's water squirters and slides before we headed over to the theme park side. Noni was so great with Peaches. She stayed with her while we did the big kid stuff and walked her around in the stroller for over an hour so E could get a nap. SO nice!
For her birthday snack/dessert Peanut chose ice cream!

W&M got ice cream too. Bug and Boo got caramel apples.
After the sugar rush :) we made our way over to the kiddie park and they started riding rides. Peanut just cleared the height requirement and was able to go on almost all the rides without an adult! Bug on the other hand was too tall for some of them...like these airplanes.

This was a favorite...the butterfly swing.
And another favorite, the train ride!
They went on every single ride in kiddie land at least once...some of them multiple times.
We took a time out to go into the toy shop and Peanut used her money from Aunt J and Uncle K to buy a kitty in a purse and a kangaroo and joey. She was so happy!
T and the bigger kids waited in line for a long time and did the bumper boats. Peanut was able to ride the helicopters five times while they waited!
By then it was dinner time so we took a break and Peanut was thrilled to discover Auntie Nae and family bought her Calico Critters!
After dinner we headed to the bumper cars. The kids loved them!

Bug did have a sore neck the next day...coincidence or bumper car whiplash? :P
Then it was back to kiddie land to ride the roller coaster!
I think this was the only thing Peanut had to have an adult for. I took her once and T took her once.
They loved it!
This starts off a little blurry but gets better.
While we were doing the roller coaster Noni was letting Peaches get her energy out by going around and around this circular pathway. Whenever she got to a particular spot where the music was loud she would stop and dance. Noni got a bunch of cute videos. When I went to video her she was tired and sat down to dance. So funny!
Thank goodness Noni was there or Peaches would have had a miserable time being strapped in the stroller most of the day.
Either that or I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the day half as much with my big girls. Thank you Noni!!!
They had to ride the trains one last time before we left. Peanut cracked me up because she spent most of the ride with her eyes closed swaying with the train like she was just soaking up every last drop of theme park fun! Haha!
Normally we leave before dinner so we can get home in time for bed but
since we'd gotten a later start than usual we decided to make the most
of it. Peaches bedtime is 8 and we didn't leave the waterpark till 9!
Poor Kenzie...while we were there she said, "Time for bed." and went right to sleep in her stroller. :) Thankfully our girls all slept most of the way home in the car.
