New and Improved

 The other day the girls and I went to lunch with Daddy and we had about 20 minutes before E had to eat so since it was sunny and warm we stopped at the park on the way home. We had been meaning to go over there because the city put in a brand new play set! 

It was well needed. The old playground was very old and very dangerous by today's standards. There was a slide that was probably 20 feet in the air with just a small handrail...it would be very easy to fall off, but now it is gone and the new play set is so nice! The girls were very excited!

  

They ran all over discovering all the things to do.

Climb, climb, climb!

"I'm drivin'! I'm drivin' a boat!"

There are four slides. Peanut said the little one was hers. :) We are looking forward to many happy play days this summer!

Funny Friday

Newborn Pictures

 When E was a week old I got out the camera and we took LOTS of pictures. I was pretty happy with how they turned out. I had to make them all black and white because she was still looking pretty yellow when these were taken. Buggy actually took the ones that I'm in...she's our little photographer. :)

Just Like the Others

I can't believe how much our girls look like each other! Especially since I don't think they really look like each other currently, although other people tell me they look similar all the time. 

So first up...Buggy.

 

I definitely see E in this one and the next...

Boo...

 She looks exactly like E here!

 

And here! They could be twins! 

 

But the one she looks most like is Peanut! 

 This picture...if I didn't know better I would say this is E. Looks exactly like her!

Splish Splash

 Confession: E was 3 weeks old before she got her first bath at home! We were waiting until her umbilical cord stump fell off and then it still looked kind of...gooey for a few days. Then a few more days passed before we were all home in the evening to give her the first bath!

 We had LOTS of help. :)

    

She cried off and on, but for the most part she was ok with it.

 

Peanut got to wash her feet.

Boo got to wash her hair.

An unhappy moment.

Bug got to wash her belly.

 

Daddy kept her head above water and monitored all the helping hands. :)

All done! Bug wanted to take a picture. She almost got a smile.
