Chuck E. Cheese!

 I asked the younger three girls what they wanted to do on their last day of summer and they all voted for Chuck E. Cheese! I told them if they wanted to go they had to pay for half of it since it's pretty expensive so they each pitched in ten dollars and we got sixty dollars worth of points. 

 We usually do minutes, but tried points this time and I think it worked well. Instead of rushing around and playing games as fast as they could they were able to take their time and choose what they wanted to do more carefully. For the same amount of money they were able to play for an hour and a half instead of an hour. It was the first day back for the local schools so we had the place almost all to ourselves!

Noni came with us and the girls loved having her there to play games with them.

 

 

I think they tried out every game in the place!

 

 

Noni and Peanut played this one several times. It's like the old fashioned fair game where you race with the water squirter.

 

 

This was one of Lou's favorites. You got to ride through the sky. Most of the games now have a digital screen.

 

 

But there are still some old favorites like skeeball, basketball, and knock down the clowns.

 

 

Lou played this one over and over.

 

 

Peanut and Peaches went around playing together for quite a while.

 

 

Peanut was so good at this one! She got every single bug with the lizard tongue.

 

 

Yee haw!

 

 

Lou liked this one a lot too. You have to catch the popcorn in the bucket.

Peanut played this one so many times her arm was a little sore the next day, haha.

 

 

They used their points to buy cotton candy. 

 

 

It was a wonderful celebration of the last day of summer!
