Jump!

We got to go to a trampoline place for a birthday party the other day! Most of my pictures turned out like this...blurs of color as the girls raced all over!

 

It was extra special because the birthday party was for Bug's pen pal from Russia who is here on furlough with her family! We have never gotten to celebrate a birthday with her before!

 

It was also extra fun because there are three kids in their family and their ages are all within six months of our older girls so whenever we get together they match up and each have a friend to play with!

The obstacle course was probably the favorite.  Peanut really wanted to do it but she didn't make the height requirement no matter how much she stretched herself up. :)

The bigger kids must have done it twenty times each!

I watched them do it over and over and when they finally talked me into I was shocked at how hard it was! They made it look so easy! I bruised my arm going over this rope and Noni scraped up her shin, All of us adults tried it and were gasping and sweating by the time we made it to the end!

 

It was up a big trampoline, over the wall, over the rope wall, up a rock wall, and then down a fire pole.

 

This balance beam was super hard too. I think halfway was the most anyone could get.

I think Boo went on the obstacle the most. She did it over and over and wasn't even sore the next day!

So happy!

Peanut's favorite was the foam pits. She jumped into these dozens of times. They had a camera that was delayed so you could jump and then watch yourself jump.

There were a couple of areas that Peanut and Peaches couldn't go in because of their height so I took them over to the smaller kids area. Peanut loved running up the trampoline and falling back down.

Peaches' favorite was bouncing while I was holding her. She laughed and laughed whenever I did it.

There was a mini foam pit in the little kids' area and Peanut and Peaches used the blocks to build towers with and then knock them over.

 

Peaches kept having static problems. :)

 

This rope thing was really hard. It would flip you if you made the slightest wrong move. 

 

 

We decided the lighter the better for it because Peanut was the best at it and it hardly ever flipped her!

Time out for presents! I let each of the girls get "their" friend a birthday present since we've never had the chance to celebrate birthdays with any of them. They all chose Legos.

The birthday girl was so sweet. She made a gift for each of the guests. Peaches laughed and squealed when she received hers. Maybe gift giving is her first love language. Haha :)

Cuties.

 

Boo was a little monkey the whole time. Every time I looked at her she was up in the air on something.

The only downfall was we had to skip Peaches nap. She started getting really tired at the end and 5-6 times I caught her laying down on the floor. "If they're not going to put me down for a nap I'll just do it myself."

After we jumped we had snacks and cake. Peaches did NOT want to wear the party hat.

 

But she finally acquiesced in order to get cake.
