One of the main reasons we did the basement was so we could have a Lego space. Our Legos have had multiple “homes” up until now. Finally they are all in ONE spot and will stay there…so help me!
After years and years of getting shuffled from place to place they have gotten a bit…destroyed. We are in the current stage of rebuilding which is quite difficult when you have thousands of Legos and are looking for very specific pieces.
We finally decided that we needed to get organized. And you have to spend money to make money right?? So we just dumped out every Lego bin and box onto the ground.
And then spent hours…over a period of several days turning it into this.
Then we went and bought some organizers and have been slowly getting the sets back together. Hopefully in a few weeks we’ll be able to start working on the town layout!

And even though I say “working” it is actually a lot of fun! There’s something therapeutic about organizing those little pieces by color and then being able to find exactly what you need. Lego therapy. I highly recommend it! Haha :)
