Happy Friday! :) 

A License and Pierced Ears!

 Boo and Peanut went to school for two hours and then I picked them up. T also went to work for two hours before meeting us. Then we headed to the city to get Boo's drivers license! It was so easy. It took less than ten minutes and we now have another licensed driver! 

Then we met Mama and Noni at our favorite Chinese food place for lunch.  

 

 

We let them open Mama and Peanut's gifts.  

 

 

Boo got the new heating pad she'd been asking for. With the crazy way this girl plays sports...always throwing herself on the ground, diving after balls, running into people...she is often icing and/or heating some part of her body. :P 

 

 

Peaches got the next four books in the series I gave her for Christmas! 

 

 

These books are really sweet and she loves them! 

 

 

Peanut got her a 3D Star Wars night light. 

 

 

And she got Boo a body mist. 

 

 

But not just any body mist...Boo's favorite scent that has been discontinued...she was slightly excited, haha. 

 

 

After lunch we headed to the mall to get Peaches' ears pierced! 

 

 

She was super nervous! 

 

 

But she was brave! 

 

 

And surprised when it was done so quickly! 

 

 

Happy girl! 

 

 

She chose tiny pink flowers and then we let her pick out some other things. They were having a crazy clearance so all the girls had fun shopping and got a bunch of things. 

 

 

Then we had to head back. It was already 2 at that point so we just took Peanut home, but Boo got to drive herself back to school for basketball practice.

Birthday Fun!

We had a week long celebration for our birthday girls! Peaches' birthday party was actually before these pictures but I'll post about that later. On Sunday we went out to lunch with Bug and F after church to celebrate the birthdays. Peanut took these two pictures. 

 

 

I don't understand the fascination with .5 pictures but they love doing them. :)

 

 

We had lunch and then Bug and F gave them their presents.  

 

 

They gave Boo an Owala water bottle! These are the "hip" water bottle to have and Boo has been wanting one for a while, but I was not willing to spend $30 on a water bottle when she already had a perfectly good one. :P F was mocking Boo's excitement, haha!

 

 

Peaches was up next.  

 

 

They gave her a really cool rubber band kit! She was very excited.  

 

 

We had to do a quick present opening and breakfast on the actual birthday morning since it was a school/work day.  

 

 

Happy Birthday to you... 

 

 

Peaches was super excited! Boo was a little puzzled at first. 

 

 

But then realized what her present was.  

 

 

She was expecting the phone, but she had really been wanting to upgrade her car dash to a digital one and T bought all the stuff to make that happen. There were so many wires and instructions I didn't know how on earth they were going to get it installed but with the help of YouTube they managed to do it in just a few hours that weekend! She even has a backup camera now! 

 

 

We had all the family and her friends text her happy birthday on the new number.  

 

 

Birthday twins! 

 

 

We let them open part of their present from Uncle B and Aunt M because they gave Boo a phone cover. 

 

 

And our big star wars fan got a fun fact book. 

 

 

They chose toaster strudels for their birthday breakfast, and then Boo also took donuts to school to share with her class. 

 

 

Make a wish!

 

 

I took Boo and Peanut to school for the last time while Peaches and Lou put together the Barbie Pool Party.

Club Volleyball!

 Another year of club volleyball has begun! They had a lot more interest this year...enough for two teams! Thankfully Boo got on a team with her bestie and other good friends so she was happy! 

The C family picked her up at 6:30AM so they could get there in time to grab a spot for the team. It was SO crazy crowded at the sports center! When I arrived they main parking lot was full so I checked the secondary lot and it was full. I ended up having to park (with a bunch of other cars) in a muddy makeshift lot. It took me a full five minutes of walking to reach the gyms! 

I wasn't able to get there until after 1 because of church but they won two of the three games I got to see! They have improved so much since last year! 

 

 

Boo did a great job! It's so fun to watch her out there.

 

 

She has so much intensity! 

 

 

Part of club is that they have to learn how to "work" games. They have to go through an online course and then they either do line judging or book keeping. Boo usually does the book keeping.  

 

 

Ready for the next game! 

 

 

I never thought I could enjoy watching volleyball but I love it! 

 

 

These girls work hard! 

 

 

And have a lot of fun together!

 

 

We are so thankful for the volunteer coaches that make this possible! 

Such a great group of girls!
