Carnival!

 The littles were SO excited when it was finally time for the annual school carnival! I had to grab a picture of Daddy and Bug when we got there.

 

 

Bug's job was face painting again this year and she put mustaches on Mario and Luigi since the ones that came with their costumes were too hard to keep on.

 

 

We spent almost two hours going around to all their favorite games. Soccer is one of Peaches' favorites.

 

 

And fishing because you get a bag of candy!

They had a blast. This was one of Lou's favorites!

 

 

Boo was assigned to the cake walk.

 

 

They had so much fun with it and both won after playing a couple times!

They ended the night by picking prizes with their "money" earned from games.

Church Songs

 Noni has been working with the kids a lot lately! They did a kids' worship team the other day and sang all the songs for the service.

 

 

They also did a sweet bell performance for offertory.

 

 The whole church loves it when they do these "Sunday School Medleys"!

 

 

Great job kids!

 

 

Noni also arranged for our girls and the G family kids to do offertory when they visited our church. 

 

 

 They've been working on it during our weekly piano lessons.

 

We have been loving spending time with them!

 

 

Thanks for all you do Noni to grow our girls' musical gifts!!!

Leftover Thursday

 Don't cry over spilled milk...but do ban said cups of milk from the schoolroom. :P

 

 

We were reading a Little Critter book. The page said, "One girl had wires on her teeth. Mom said they were braces. I thought the were neat. I hoped I would get braces." Lou looked at me with puzzled exasperation and said, "What's he want braces for?! He only gots one tooth!!" 

 

 

Aunt Karen sent Peaches a sweet baptism gift....

 

 

She was so happy and proud! Thank you Aunt Karen!

 

 

And speaking of Peaches...she played Oh How I Love Jesus for offertory. Great job E!

Wordless Wednesday

 

 

 

 

First Snow!

 We had our first snow a few days into November and the girls were thrilled! We got to have hot chocolate for breakfast...their dream come true. :P

 

 

 They ran outside and grabbed snowballs and brought them in to cool down their hot chocolate. Haha.

 

 

So happy!

 

 And of course then they ran outside in bare feet. :P

 

 

I convinced them to put on snowboots, coats, and mittens.

 

 

They made a snowman but I didn't get a picture. Peanut took a break from her school long enough to pop outside for a few minutes but it was windy and still snowing so she didn't last very long. 

 

 

They were sad to see it melt but I was happy to get a little bit more fall weather before winter sets in!

Disney On Ice!

 The other day Noni and I got to take Peanut, Peaches, and Lou to Disney on Ice!

They put on a fabulous show as usual! I was impressed with how much snow came down!

 

 

The little ones were enthralled!

 

 

It was Frozen and Encanto this year and we loved all the colorful numbers! 

 

 

We all had a wonderful time!
