 Peanut did an offertory.  We are so proud of our girls and thankful to Noni for teaching them how to play! 

We cleared the patio so we could seal the concrete and Lou and I were enjoying some outside time.

Bug and Peanut made up this duet all by themselves out of a piece of music! Both of them play by ear. I do not so I am always very impressed by it!

Another week, another piano lesson. The girls are all doing so well!

 

 

The littles got to spend the night and went for a walk with Noni, Papa, and Abby. :)

Horseback Riding Lessons!

 Peanut finally got her wish! She has been asking for horseback riding lessons for years! I finally found a place where she could do it, although it's a bit of a drive so I only agreed to every other week. She was SO excited for her first lesson! We found her some real cowgirl boots at a consignment store so she was ready to go!

 

 

She was introduced to Luna and her teacher taught her all about how to care for a horse, brushing them out, cleaning their hooves, saddling them, ect.

 

 

The little ones got to pet the horses too. :)

 

 

She chose this saddle blanket from a myriad of options.

 

 

Luna is such a sweet horse!

 

 

Lou was filthy within minutes of being in the barn. :P

 

 

All mounted up and ready to go!

 

 

She did a great job and had fairly good command of the horse for her first time! They played Red Light Green Light to practice stopping and starting. The only thing she had a hard time with was getting Luna to break into a trot. She rides with another homeschool girl, J.

 

 

The little ones found a practice calf and spent almost the whole hour playing with it. Haha.

 

 

Future rodeo queen? :)

 

 

The next lesson she rode a horse named Jett.  

 

 

I have to watch Lou carefully because she has zero fear of these big guys. She has tried more than once to dart underneath them or behind them before I snatched her back. They are all super gentle and very used to kids, but I'm sure they have their limits for patience with small loud children. :P We are working on being calm and quiet around them.

 

 

This is their newest horse. Lou got to feed it some hay.

I'm really impressed with how well Peanut is doing so quickly!

 

 

She was able to get Jett into a trot. 

 

 

When I asked her what she thought of her first lesson she said, "It was even better than I ever dreamed it would be!" I'm so happy she has this opportunity and is loving it so much!

Dance!

Peaches and Lou are doing such a good job at dance!  I feel like they are learning a lot more technical stuff this year. I should probably help them practice at home but I don't know all the positions and names of moves that they are supposed to do. :P 

They definitely have the looking cute part down! :)

 

 

 

 Lou is nervous to go in at first each day, but eventually goes for it. She has two friends in the class which helps.

 

 

So cute!

 

 

The first day I had to sit in the class with her for a while before I was able to leave.

 

 

 

She is doing such a good job! She loves jumping and dancing around.

 

 

 

Peaches is doing a great job too. I'm already looking forward to recital! 

 

Peanut's Special Day

 I forgot to post these pictures from Peanut's special day with Noni for her birthday. They started off the day with McDonald's pancakes and devotions in the park.

 

 

Then they went to the mall to paint pottery.

 

 

Peanut painted a bowl and Noni did more garden markers.

 

 This was right after she got her ears pierced so they also went and she picked out some new earrings.

 

 

They had lunch at our favorite sandwich shop. They rest of us were jealous. :)

 

 

And they had a wonderful day!!
