Birthday Party #2!

 The day after Lou's birthday we had another party...this time with Grandma, Grandpa, and the W family. We had "peezas!" and fruit salad for dinner...two of her very favorites.

 

 

Then the kids ran off to play until it was present time. :)

 

 

Bug gave her JJ from Cocomelon.

 

 

Dressed in a giraffe costume. 

 

 

Grandma and Grandpa gave her two adorable outfits!

 

 

Auntie Nae and family gave her a "Pet Vet" set which Mr. T loved since he is our vet! :)

 

 

Aunt J and Uncle K gave her a unicorn backpack...she was so excited she wouldn't stand still for a picture. :P

 

 

Here is the Cocomelon cake. Bug did an awesome job with it!

Wordless Wednesday

 

Birthday Party #1!

 Lou's birthday was on a Monday which is piano so in between lessons we had her dinner of choice, "DONALD'S!" :P and presents and cake. Noni made her a 3 shaped cake because she seemed to be having a hard time with her correct number. Whenever we asked how old she was going to be in was always four or five, but never three. Haha.

 

She is such a ham. When we all focus on her she sticks out her tongue, and wiggle-dances around. A lot of times she also closes her eyes and sways like she is reveling in the attention. Haha.

 

 

 

We (including her) sang happy birthday. She was so happy!

Then she got to open some presents. Daddy drove all the way in just to join us for an hour. So sweet.

Mama gave her a Christmas coloring book and new crayons. She hugged them to herself happily.

 

Aunt Karen got her an adorable wooden cake set to go with her new kitchen! She LOVES it!

 

Noni made her a personalized book, and they also gave her this fun surprise toy. It was wrapped in yarn and she had to unravel it to see what it was.

 

 

It was a cute little elephant!

 

 

 

Daddy took the three younger girls home first and they played birthday party with the cake for a long time before bed. He said she had to "chop, chop!" it over and and over again.

 

 

 

It was a perfect birthday for a three year old!

Happy Birthday Lou!

 I don't think a kid has ever been more excited about her birthday! Lou asked if it was her birthday every single day for six weeks leading up to it! I knew Bug wouldn't have time to make her cake on her party day so I had her make it the Sunday before and we froze it. This is Lou seeing it for the first time...after her nap...crazy hair! Haha! She was SOO happy!

Daddy had an important meeting the morning of her birthday so after taking Bug to school he went to that and we let her open Peanut's present while we were waiting.

 

 

Cocomelon puzzles! She is really into Cocomelon! It is a show on Netflix that is nothing but kids songs put to animation. 

 

 

They did all the puzzles.

 

 

And then we had her breakfast of choice...waffles!

 

 

The candle was "bright in my eyes!" 

 

 

She conveniently went upstairs and Daddy got home so we were able to sneak her present out. Here's a picture I had taken the night before after T put it together.

 

She was so excited when she came down!

 

 

 

 

All of the girls were!

 

 

We found this set at IKEA on Bug's teenager trip. It is SO cute! The felt food was adorable! The head of lettuce has leaves you can peel off and put on a sandwich, and you can peel the banana. It's adorable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peaches got her a little tea set to go with it.

 

 

 She loved it! 

The little ones played for two hours straight before even budging from this spot!

 

 

And then I promptly took it all up to her room because I was done with the mess in the dining room. Haha. It looks so cute set up in her room! I brought up the old white table and chairs and it fit in perfectly. 

 Hopefully it will provide MANY more hours of entertainment for them!
