October was SO rainy! Our farmer friend told us there was 6 inches. November, on the other hand, has been sunny and in the 50/60's! The girls have been playing outside for hours every day and have had multiple picnics. I love when they have picnics because it means less crumbs/sweeping in the kitchen. Haha!

Trick-Or-Treat

We had a hard time deciding what to be this year! We went back and forth about 20 times, but finally landed on farm family...since we already had two costumes from when Bug and Boo were little. Bug really wanted to be Shaun the Sheep, and we found Boo a super soft pig outfit on Amazon so it worked out well.

We talked Noni and Mama into coming over and manning the door for us so we could take everybody out trick-or-treating. Peaches stayed home and took a nap.

The best candy house in town!

 

We ran into a bunch of the girls friends so we started trick-or-treating together and had a group of 7 girls.

Then we ran into Peanut's little bestie, and she wanted to break off with her sisters and follow Rapunzel. :) Cutie pies!

 

I had already walked farther than I planned (I wasn't supposed to be walking too far 10 days out of surgery) so Peanut and I joined up with them and slowly made our way home while Daddy and the big girls kept going.

We made it home and Peanut got into jammies. Then she discovered the joy of passing out candy!

 

So happy!

 

She was very excited when her sisters stopped in for a potty break.

 

Noni, Mama, and I played cards between answering the door. 

Daddy, Bug, and Boo ended up trick-or-treating for about 3 hours! This was the first year Boo made it the whole time, and she was pooped when they finally got back! They had an awesome time!

The next morning it was the candy sort! They made quite a haul!

Another great Halloween in the books!

Family at the Farm

The next morning we had brunch with all the family members and spent several more hours visiting, playing games, and enjoying the time together.

Peanut completed her first mosaic creation on her own!

 

Uncle J was so sweet...the girls adore him and he played multiple games of chess, pool, and Foosball with them.

 

I found these two cuties playing in the bunk bed area.

 

And the rest of these pictures were taken by Boo, who once again confiscated my camera. She got some great candids.

Haha, what a fun family! Love it. We were so happy we got to spend that time with them! It was hard to leave! Thanks to everyone who came and helped us celebrate Grandma!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

For Grandma's 60th birthday we wanted to have a big celebration so we planned a party! Aunt C (Grandma's sister) made phone calls and got both of Grandma's brothers and wives and a neice and her husband to come! Four of those people came all the way from Texas! 

We all arrived on Saturday and it was so much fun catching up and seeing family members we hadn't seen in years! Lots of visiting!

I was a little worried that Peaches would be fussy because she has started to cry when people from church try to hold her, but she was a little angel! She went back and forth between the family members with smiles and coos for all!

The girls of course had a blast with all the cousins there! Boo wanted my camera and got almost all of the following pictures.

We had a photographer come in and take a few family and sibling pictures so I don't have any of those. The party went great and lots of people came to help us celebrate Grandma! We had 9 crockpots of soups, sandwiches, and lots of yummy pies for dessert! 

Once all the guests went home and it was just family left we all sat in the living room and watched Grandma open presents.

 

She got some nice things. 

We had set up a photo booth, but I think these three are the only ones that used it. I found these pictures (and about 30 others) later on the camera. Haha :)
