Leftover Thursday

 R got to come over the other day. I love how she fits into our family and hangs out with all the girls. :)

 

 

Boo and Peanut have gone fishing a couple different evenings with N and K after they get off work. N has his own fishing boat, and he let Peanut drive it. :) 

 

 

They've gotten to see some beautiful sunsets there!

We went to see Toy Story 5 and it is my new favorite kids' movie! It was really cute and I think what I liked best about it is that it made play cool and discouraged being an "iPad kid". We need more of that in this tech-driven world!

Wordless Wednesday

 

Baseball!

 We got to go to another baseball game! And this one was a scorcher! It was 100 degrees at game time, but thankfully this time we got seat instead of bleachers and we were on the shady side! It's been in the upper 90's for a while but I guess it's so dry that it really doesn't feel that hot. Unless you are out working in the direct sun it feels like 80's when you go outside. I've been enjoying the warmer weather...when the smoke lets up enough to breathe outside that is. 

Anyway, N was able to come with us again. 

 

 

And we were invited to go with Bug's in-laws church group so there was a big crowd of people that we knew. Peanut got to sit with her friends, O, E, and C. 

 

 

Bug and F were there but sitting too far away for us to talk to. We waved down the line at each other.  

 

 

Peanut took this selfie and submitted it to the fan photo contest and then we waited for the 8th inning to see if they made it up on the board. 

 

 

They had fun dancing at the breaks. :) 

 

 

Such a fun group! 

 

 

They made it! 

 

 Our team didn't end up winning the game, but we had a great time and enjoyed our warm summer evening!

 The other day we were introduced to two famous rock stars! Ziggy and Grover!

 

 

We were even invited to a private performance! 

 

 These rock stars had tattoos...

Pool Party!

 The girls and I got to go to a birthday party for Peanut's friend, E, who is also Bug's brother-in-law. We had lunch at their house first and then headed over to the local pool. The kids wanted to walk and by the time they got there three of them had apparently given up, haha. 

 

 

They spent a couple hours enjoying the beautiful day! 

 

 

There were lots of games of Marco Polo. 

 

 

Then we went back to their house for ice cream and presents.
