Leftover Thursday

Lou was pretty proud of herself at lunch the other day for inventing "blueberry nachos". :P

 

 

This last dentist visit was the first time Lou has hopped up in the chair and not needed me to sit next to her and hold her hand. She's getting so grown up! And in other news...no one had any cavities this time! Thank goodness. 

 

 

The girls love going to Costco. Haha.

 

 

Peaches said it was Do-do's birthday so Bug made her a cake that said, "Gone Bananas".

 

 

Bug's special day with Noni was just before her Junior Banquet so Noni took her to the mall to get her nails done! This is the before they filed them off. Haha.

 

 

So pretty! Thanks Noni!

Wordless Wednesday

 

Charades!

 We were cleaning out the envelope of gift cards the other day and found some Walmart ones the girls had gotten for Christmas. Peaches picked a game of charades so we had a family night of dinner and charades. They loved it!

 We all took turns and whoever guessed it got to keep the card. The one with the most cards won. 

Everyone was funny. Daddy was a good sport.

 

 

The little ones cracked me up because they would keep doing the same motion even if no one could guess it. We kept trying to get them to try something else but they would just keep doing the same thing over and over until the timer ran out in the hopes that someone would magically guess it. Haha.

 

 

Lou is a hoot. 

 

 

I can't remember what this one was, maybe a sword fight? Haha.

 

 

Bug was laughing so hard at one point that she actually choked on some watermelon she was eating! T had to pound her pretty hard on the back before she coughed it up. Yikes. Thankfully she was fine and the rest of the game was less eventful.

It's always a funny time with these goofballs!

Roller Skating!

 We all got to go to Bug and Boo's end of the year skating party. Peaches and Lou had been practicing their skating for weeks and they did an amazing job! Neither of them needed the skate helpers this year and they scooted around the rink like little pros!

 

 

At home Lou only lasts a few minutes before stopping so I was a little worried about the two hour skating session, but other than sitting down for short breaks she skated the entire time!

 

 

The girls all had friends there so they had a great time!

 

 

It's fun to watch Bug and Boo with their friends since I don't get to see them at school.

 

 

Such a fun time!

 

 

A is now graduated and M is going to do a early college program next year so they won't be at school. Bug will really miss them! 

 

 

Goodbye school, hello summer!

Sprinkler Fun!

We have had a cold summer so far! There have a been a few warm days here and there, but for the most part it has been pretty cool. As soon as it got the slightest bit warm the girls threw on their swimsuits and headed for the sprinklers. I love how the smallest things spark such joy for them!

 

We're ready for summer!!
