Cousin Visit - Part 3

 Auntie N got the girls an "un-birthday" present. :) So sweet!

 

 

Each of them got jewelry!

 

 

Peaches and Lou got sticker earrings which they were SO excited about!

They left for a few days to spend some time with the other side of the family a few hours away and when they came back we invited them over to our house for dinner. Peanut made a yummy cake!

 

 

 We had a taco bar and visited while the kids played.

Our kids have hardly jumped on our trampoline all summer. I'm not sure why, but I'm happy whenever they do get on it. Peanut looks hilarious here...

 

 

Everything is more fun with cousins!

 

 The next evening was their last night and we went over to Noni and Papa's for dinner and games. Some of us played cards while the rest of the kids got to play Mario Kart. Papa has it set up so four people can play at the same time.

 

 

And the cool thing is it can be connected over the Internet so he can play with Cousin S and B when they are home in New Mexico!

 

 

We had to grab a cousin picture before they left. We were only missing the newest cousin, baby E. Peanut is holding up her picture here. :)

 

 

And of course they wanted a silly face after. :) 

 

 

So thankful for family!

Cousin Visit - Part 2

 Noni got the kids water balloons and they got to have a relay race!

 

So fun!

 

 

Some of us adults joined in on the next round.

 

 

Then we did a water balloon toss. Bug soaked me on one toss but it was a really hot day so I didn't mind. :)

 

 

Daddy and Mama took shelter in the golf cart. :)

 

 

 

After the games Noni let them use the rest of the balloons for a water balloon fight.

We had brought pjs so after they changed out of their wet clothes and we ate dinner they got to play a bit before we had to head home.

We are thankful they came! The rest of the pictures tomorrow.

Cousin Visit!

We got to have a fun cousin visit with S and B last month! Because of Covid this was their first visit since D was born...literally...they were here visiting when she was born. :) So it's been almost four years!

 

 

The girls wasted no time having fun with them!

Noni let the girls do some of their "fair" games. Peanut did the face painting.

 

 

This was the first day of school when Peaches was feeling especially emotional so she had a huge meltdown.

We had to go sit and rock for quite a while before she calmed down.

 

 

Lou was happy to have her face painted!

Preschool!

 Noni knew how upset I was that Lou was going to miss out on the preschool experience that her sisters got to enjoy so she sweetly offered to have preschool once a week! Lou was so excited to pick out her backpack and school supplies!

 

 

It cracks me up that she is so obsessed with Paw Patrol when she has only seen a handful of episodes. She was so excited to find this backpack!

 

 

I took her to meet Noni the first day. Peaches got to go with them the first two weeks since it was before her school started. 

 

 

Saying goodbye. She still doesn't love to be away from Mommy so it's probably a good thing she only goes once a week and it's to such a familiar place.

 

 

Mama got a new phone and learned how to text. She sent me this picture of the first day!

 

Lou had so much fun and even has a classmate! Noni got one of her piano student families to come the same day and their youngest boy does preschool with her!

 

 

Here she is out cold at Noni's after her big day! 

 

 

When I went to pick her up later she showed me her classroom...Noni modified the piano room to include the preschool.

Peanut wanted to see if Queso would eat her leftover macaroni and cheese. He didn't eat any noodles but he licked off all the cheese sauce! :P
