The baby was crying. E: "Maybe she had a bad dream!" She danced over to D and asked "Did you dream that a polar bear was chasing you and you got dead?!" Peaches grabbed her face dramatically, "I don't like that dream!"

January 16th

Noni was trying to help her with her reading while they were making a cake. Noni: "What does it say here?" She put her finger on the directions and said, "Dump this."

January 27th - her 5th birthday!

We were out to lunch for her and Boo's birthday and there were TVs on in the restaurant. "Mommy! Look at that!" Me: "I'm not here to watch TV I'm here to celebrate some birthdays!" Her: "Well I'm here to watch TV!!"

January 28th

Putting together her birthday Lego...me: "Wow you are so good at following directions!" Her, matter of factly: "Yes. I know how to read the menu."

March 3rd

A semi was in front of her and Daddy on the way to school and stopped before turning in the general direction of Noni's house. She said, "Oh wow. that's a BIG long truck! They must be going to Noni's!" Daddy: "Oh really? Noni needs a big truck full of wheat?" Her: "Oh yeah Daddy! It's for the chickens!"

March 29th

We hadn't let her play Catan at that point because she was so little, but we decided to let her try this particular night. We are always telling the older girls they need to make a plan and get the cards they need to achieve it instead of just randomly buying whatever they can with the cards they have at the moment. She sat down at the table, SO excited and said, "Guys! It's the night! I'm gonna learn to play Catan! I have big plans! My plan is....to WIN!"

Church

I am so thankful for our church! The girls have so many friends and we are very blessed with those friendships. Last week at church I noticed a new friendship forming. I looked over and Lou was chatting away with her friend C after service. It was adorable. I couldn't hear what they were saying with all the other groups standing around chatting but there was lots of expression!

Then she ran over to B to talk with her. She was being quite the social butterfly. Haha.

When B had to leave I noticed her holding hands with C and running around squealing. So cute.

This particular day we decided to go to Mexican after church. We don't go nearly as much as we used to so it's a treat when we get to! The girls were looking at something on Daddy's phone. Lou looks so long in this picture.

We are thankful for our sweet church family!

St. Patrick's Day

We started off St. Patrick's Day with our traditional breakfast of Lucky Charms. Lou and Peaches had to have a picture with the little green hat marshmallows. :)

Then it was school for the big girls and playtime for the littles! They have been really into their Duplos lately and can spend lots of time building with them.

We had green homemade macaroni and cheese for lunch.

And spent the afternoon playing some games. Peanut and I taught Peaches how to play Clue.

She did pretty good!

I also found a great book about St. Patrick by Voice of the Martyrs. I bought the pack so I'm excited to try out the other ones that came with it. It's called The Courageous Series.
