Leftover Thursday

Buggy is learning about the age of Invention in history and we did a lesson on Samuel Morse. She thought it was pretty awesome!

T is almost always home in the mornings when E wakes up. I bring her to bed to nurse first thing and when she sits up he is two feet away sleeping so she happily squeals pats his face until he wakes up. One morning he had a 7am meeting and was long gone by the time she woke up. She sat up after nursing, looked at his side of the bed, and said, "Da-da?" I managed to get my camera open and snap this picture of her questioning face. Where'd my Daddy go?

State History was a one-semester subject so Buggy was thrilled when she finished. I was nursing the baby and she sent me a text on the iPad.

There was a tiny bit of ice cream left and Peanut thought it was so funny that I let her eat it straight out of the carton.

"I Larious!" - Part 22

October 14th

Bug had been learning her Roman numerals and made a little booklet to help herself remember them. I overheard the girls heading downstairs. Boo: "Come on!" Peanut: "Hold on! I have to get the Roman's numal book!"

October 15th

Me: "Peanut eat your soup please."
Her: "I can't! The celery is all slippy!"

October 20th

Her: "How do you spell elphante?"
Me: "E L E P H A N T E"
Her: "Uhhh, I'm not going to keep that. How about Te?"
Me: "T E"
Her: " Ok. I can write that down."

October 30th

Sometime the browser will crash when they are doing computer games. I was walking on the treadmill one afternoon while they were having computer time. Peanut came down the stairs: "Mommy? The computer is freaked out. Can you un-freak it?"

Molars

This poor little one has been cutting her molars for a solid month now! It has been a rough process!

Her gums were so swollen and purple that I was pretty worried about them for a while. It's hard to tell here but you can see a little bit of the swollen areas.

Even though she's been crabby at times it's still easy to get a smile out of her and distract her from the pain.

Peek-a-boo Mommy!

I tried so hard to get a picture of them finally through and could never get them...she doesn't like to open her mouth. One night she was crying and T and I managed to snag these pictures.

The top ones were a little easier to get although it's hard to see them in there.

She got a diaper rash with them but not too terrible. But then she got a horrible diaper rash and I realized that she had finally cut the 8th front tooth!
