Tooth #6

 Grandma and Grandpa spent the night after the birthday because they were on their way to see the other cousins. We made Grandpa work for it though...he made us his famous french toast for breakfast! Yum!

It was Peaches one month birthday! Funny face!

You can see she likes to eat...already sporting a double chin. Haha :)

Sleepy baby!

Boo had a super loose tooth and decided she wanted Daddy to pull it while Grandma and Grandpa were there so they could witness her bravery. :)

Quite the puzzle piece mouth! AND she has two more that are pretty loose! She's not going to have any left at this rate! 

She was so sweet...she got $1 from the Tooth Fairy and she took it to church (since it was Sunday) and gave it to the offering. She said, "I want to give my Tooth Fairy money to God!"

Party Time!

 T has been completely run ragged lately. As if starting a new job as the CEO of a hospital weren't enough PLUS getting his master's degree PLUS having a new baby PLUS we are actually buying a house right now! (More details on that soon!) 

All that is really taking it's toll on his stress levels as you can imagine! So for his birthday I was looking for something fun that would let him relax and let loose for a few hours and I found it!  I was looking on Groupon for entertainment options and found a warehouse that does nothing but Nerf Gun wars! 

I stuck my camera through the net to get some pictures. Loved this one of T and Auntie Nae getting into it. :)

  

Peanut was too little to operate a gun, but she was happy to run around in there!

 We invited the M family to go with us.

They had a DJ who played music and had them play all sorts of games like Capture the Flag, etc. 

Is the white team strategizing or hiding? :)

McKenzie also ran around happily collecting bullets. The bullets are all over the ground so you can just grab some and reload when you run out.

They also turned off the lights and played by black light for half the time. I think everyone had a great time! I was so happy that T got to relax and be a kid again for a few hours! 

Because of E's late-at-night arrival this was the first time Auntie Nae and the kids got to see her! They had gone home for bed by the time she was born. 

I ended up booking the party package because it was a better deal so we got to have a "party room" for an hour. We had pizza delivered and continued the party while we were eating.

E decided she was going to stay awake for 5 hours straight! She wasn't fussy at all...just sat there staring at all the new things.

Funny girl!

I kept asking T what kind of dessert he wanted for his birthday and he never gave me an answer so he ran into Walmart on the way to the party and came out with this 4 sectioned cake! Pretty cool! It was carrot cake, German chocolate, chocolate, and red velvet.

Present time! Auntie Nae made him baseball bookends for his office!

T is a great gift receiver. Love it.

The girls and I got him a new Mariners t-shirt and sweatshirt.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

The girls were so excited for Daddy's birthday! They came running into our room to pounce on him with birthday hugs. 

After a few elbows and knees to the ribs and kidneys they sweetly gave him a birthday back rub. Haha :)

   

He had to go to work for a few hours so we went ahead and gave him his main present. K and I made him work for it though! We had made a short scavenger hunt the night before. Here were the clues.

  

The first one was by his Play Station

The second in his shoe.

The third was in the oven which Boo found.

And that led him to the garage where his present was waiting.

He was pretty happy! It's a mortising machine for his woodworking.

 

The box didn't say what it was so he had to open it up and figure it out.

Bug was so sweet and made him his favorite breakfast (fried egg sandwich) and made the rest of us breakfast too!

After that he had to get ready and go in to work so we got schoolwork done while we were waiting for him to get off early. More pictures tomorrow!

Grand Prix

Our AWANA Grand Prix was early this year! The girls said it was their favorite night of the year!

I wish I had been fast enough to get a video. Peanut was SO excited she was jumping up and down squealing! 

The Cubbies and Sparks race Matchbox cars. Peanut picked a purple one with green wheels.

Boo picked a periwinkle one. :)

They got to go up and hand their car to Mr. D when it was their turn to race.

E finally did get the girls' cold...thankfully it didn't develop into much. She just had red, watery eyes and a stuffy nose for a few days. Since she wasn't feeling great I left her home with T for an hour (who has been doing class online on Wednesday nights) and then we switched and he went up to watch Bug race the car they made together.

Buggy's was Kevin. Daddy made Stuart, and won 2nd place in the race!

My friend made all the ribbons! They turned out beautifully!

 Each kid gets to race several times and the girls each won a couple of their races so they were happy. I would say the Grand Prix was a big success!
