“See??”
“Oh no, I’m going over! Timber!”
“Thanks. That was embarrassing.”
“I got this.”
“Okay, you can stop taking pictures now.”
“I’ve dazzled and amazed you enough for one afternoon.”
“Now go and tell my fans.”
The other day Noni taught Bug how to play Happy Birthday so she could play it for T on his birthday. She was SO excited and kept asking me, “Is it Daddy’s birthday today?”
Then she was so happy when I finally said yes that she started playing it while he was in the shower. I finally told her, “He can’t hear you right now” so she asked me to video her. Then of course she played it again, several times, once he got out of the shower. So sweet. :)
I saw these a couple of months ago when I was looking for something and realized I’d never posted a follow up on Peanut’s breech hips situation.
We took her in, back in October, and had the ultrasound done and everything came back normal. Here are the pictures I took while we were there. Let see…October would have been about 3 months old.

She looked so tiny on the big bed!
She actually did pretty well. Two people scanned her and she was great for the first one, a lady. She didn’t fuss at all and just kind of looked around. I think the lady was just doing more of an overall look around.
The second person was a guy and he had to pin her down to get some more detailed pictures, which she did not care for, as you can imagine. Good thing she didn’t have the set of pipes she does now because looking back on it she had a pretty “small” cry even though it felt loud at the time!
We are so thankful that everything came back clear and she had no lingering side effects from her traumatic birth!
I wanted to check how I started Bug on solids (crazy how fast you forget!) so I went back to her six month posts and realized we used the same spoon to feed her the first time! So funny!
She wanted to help too!
I also saw that Bug weighed 15lbs. 14oz. at 6 months (the exact same as Peanut) and I came across this picture…look at little Koala so nice and new and bright orange!
I also found this picture and thought it looked JUST liked Peanut.
We do think Peanut is starting to look more like Boo though. It will be so fun to see who she favors as she grows!

“What the heck is that supposed to be?”
“Really? You expect me to eat this?”
“Okay, okay I’ll try it again.”
“Nope, still no good.”
“You people just don’t quit do you?”
*Sigh*
“Oh good. I think we’re done.”
“More? At least let me put it in myself.”
“Nope. That really doesn’t make it taste any better.”
“Maybe if I just set it in there they’ll think I’m actually swallowing it.”
“See Mom. I got this.”
“Yeah, I know. I’m pretty good.”
Peanut likes bouncing in her jumpers so much that we thought it was about time to get out the walker. So far she doesn’t seem to understand that she’s moving herself. She still makes the motion from the bouncer, but I’m sure she’ll figure it out one of these days and realizes she can chase after her sisters. :) Here she is the first time we put her in it. I love how thrilled Buggy gets when she does something new. :)
