The Spring play was amazing!!! I can honestly say that it was my favorite play that the school has done ever, second only to the Sound of Music that the girls were in 7 years ago!
It was a musical and they even had choreography! They told three parables and then did a little skit on Jesus' sacrifice and all of it was so well done!
Boo was the first one out from behind the curtain and led the charge.
The choir teacher told Noni that none of the kids were on board with the choreography until Bug and Boo got into it and made it look cool and then all of the girls and some of the guys wanted to do it too.
They were both center stage for the first song.
And they did such a good job!
The first parable was the sower and the seeds and had a cute farm theme.
There would be some dialogue and then a song or two. This one was cute.
The second parable was the Good Samaritan and Bug was one of three church ladies who didn't help him. They were hilarious!
They prayed for him and then moved on.
The kids all kept the secret of a big surprise...one of the dads was the Samaritan and actually rode into the gym on his Harley, picked up the wounded man, and drove out with him draped over the back of the bike! It was awesome!
