Happy Birthday!

All Boo wanted to do for her birthday was go to the waterpark like we did last year, but unfortunately they are not open Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the winter unless it is a holiday. Thankfully they were open a few weeks later, on Waylon’s birthday so we still got to go!

Even though it was President’s day we did some schoolwork (to make up for our time away in Arizona) and let Daddy go into work for a few hours. Then we packed up the car, picked up Noni and headed out on a little road trip.

Peanut should have been napping, but didn’t fall asleep until we were just a few miles from the place, even though she was SO tired! Thankfully Noni stayed in the car with her and let her get at least 30 minutes while we checked in and unpacked the car.

We got into swimsuits right away and headed over. We swam, and played, and went down slides for about 2.5 hours before heading back to the room. We got dressed and headed upstairs to where Auntie Nae and family were staying.

She had a fun Ninja Turtle party all set up! So cute!

Grandma and Grandpa, and one set of Waylon’s other cousins and parents, along with his other Grandparents were all there. We had quite a crew! We ate pizza, veggies, and salad while we visited.

Sorry for the poor quality…these were all taken on my phone. I looked over at Buggy one time to find her holding Baby M. :)

Boo had a few extra birthday presents to open: a cute outfit from Grandma and Grandpa, a dog purse from Waylon’s family, and a Frozen nightgown from us that I’d forgotten. :)

Then it was time for the birthday boy to open up his presents. There were lots of Ninja turtles and superhero stuff…otherwise known as things we never see in our house. :)

Peanut was exhausted by this point and more than ready for bed, but she hung in there a little longer to check out Waylon’s loot.

And then I looked over to find her crawled up on the couch with Baby M.

The last order of business was singing “Happy Birthday!” and eating cake. Yum!

I can’t believe Waylon and Boo are 5 already!! Seems like just the other day they were the babies! Happy Birthday you two!
